For more than 40 years Speedway Star Shirts have evolved into an icon of  Australian Speedway. The Speedway Star name has become synonymous with top quality Speedway shirts catering for all divisions and some of Speedway's biggest superstars.

Speedway Star was the pioneer in Speedway souvenirs in Australia. Our first shop was at the famous Sydney Showground in the late 1960's. Back then we specialised in photographs, books, sew-on badges and metal pins but by 1974 we were producing the first mass produced shirts for the England vs Australia Test Matches, Billy Sanders, Phil Crump, Dick Briton and most of the Champions that have graced our sport.

Speedway Star set up the first Souvenir Shop at Parramatta in 1977 and helped establish shops at most of the major speedways around Australia, including The Brisbane Ekka, Tralee Speedway, Newcastle Motordrome, Claremont, Mount Gambier, Warrnambool, Avalon and Speedway Park (now Speedway City). In the mid seventies we produced the first Garry Rush T-Shirt along with designs for the most popular competitors. Sprintcar drivers Steve Brazier, Alf Barbagallo, Bill Barrows, Bob Blacklaw and Bob Kelly all had a Speedway Star designs done at some time.

Speedway Star has had a special relationship with the Tatnell family from the beginning, first through George and now with Brooke. Speedway Star did the first Sprintcar shirts for George and Brooke and continues to produce designs now. Although no longer based at any particular Speedway we continue to produce shirts for most of the Australian Championship events including Bikes, Sidecars, Speedcars, Sedans and Sprintcars, all of which we produced the very first official T-shirts.

Another privilege is to do shirts for multi World Speedway Champions Ivan Mauger and Australia's Jason Crump and also American NASCAR superstar Tony Stewart.
